Preemie Gown for Tiny Angels{Lyn's Designs}
Materials:
F Hook   
Baby Pompadour Yarn, approx.8 oz.
2 small buttons    
Ribbon Roses and Satin Ribbon for decoration

Neckline: 
Row 1:   ch 30, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 
and in next 3 ch, 3 hdc in next(corner),* when you turn those 2 st are 
your first hdc*
hdc in next 4 ch, 3 hdc in next (corner),
hdc in next 8 ch, 3 hdc in next (corner),
hdc in next 4 ch, 3 hdc in next (corner),
hdc in next 4 ch, to end.   ch 2, turn.
*There should be 4 corners on this row.*
 
Bodice:
Row 2: ch 2, 1 hdc in each across, following pattern with 3 hdc in each 
corner.
repeat 4 more rows. join.  and work in rounds.
 
Armholes:  1 hdc in each st across, to 1st corner.  ch 6, sk over to next 
corner, 1 hdc in each st across front to next corner, ch 6, sk to next 
corner, 1 hdc in each remaining st.
Under Armholes:
Rows 7-8:  ch 3, 1 hdc in each across.
Row  9:   Ch 3, 2 dc in each st across.. 

Skirt:
Row 10:   Ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, (V st made) * ch 1, sk 1, 1 dc in next 3 
sts, ch 1, sk 1, V stitch (1 dc,ch1, 1 dc) in next, repeat * across.
Repeat pattern Row 10 for a total of 19 rows.
 
Hem:
1 hdc in each st around. join.
 
Trim:  Row 1: ch 3, 3 dc in same sp, * sk 2, 1 hdc in each of next 3, sk 
2, (shell) 7 dc in next sp,  repeat * around. join.
Row 2:  ch 1, * sc in each st around.  making sure to put 3 sc in center 
of shell st.
repeat * around.  join.  fasten off.
 
Sleeves:
Row 1-7: (pattern row)-
join under arm in center stitch,  ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, (V st made).  * 
sk 1 1 dc in next 3 st, sk 1, V st in next, - repeat * around.
Row 8:  trim;  ch 1, * 1 sc in next 3 st, 1 dec over next 2, , repeat * 
around.  join.  end off.
(** NOTE:   a V stitch is  ...1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc... all in same space)
 
Thread Satin Ribbon thru bodice above skirt, tie in bow in front.
Sew Buttons onto back.
Arrange and sew on the ribbon roses as desired.
