Patriotic 7-Point Round Ripple Baby Afghan{Lyn's Designs}  {Measures 27" from center to point}
Materials:
4 ply yarn ; 8 oz white, 8 oz.blue, 8 oz.red
G crochet Hook
 .............................
 
with white....
1.  ch 6, sl st to form ring. 
2.  ch3, 1 dc into ring,  *ch 2, 2 dc into ring, (repeat * 5 more times) so 
that you have 7 2-dc groups. 
3.  ch 3, * dc-ch 2-dc in sp between groups, 1 dc in next 2 dc, repeat * 
around . join. 
4.  ch 3, * 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, 1 dc in next dc, sk 2, 1 dc in 
next dc, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next sp.  repeat * around. join. 
5.  repeat 4. 
6.  repeat 4. 
7.  repeat 4. 
8.  repeat 4. 
9.  with red; follow same pattern as before only putting 3 dc,ch 2, 3 dc 
in the spaces.   continue red  thru round 12.
 
rnd 13-16  white.
rnd 17-20  blue.
rnd 21-24  white.
rnd 25-28  red.
rnd 29-30  white.
rnd 31 blue.
or any color combination you choose. 

{please note: I did have a little trouble with it puckering in the center..
I will be working on this further to get it to lay out smoother..
but wanted to share this now }
