Ladies Mesh Cap{Lyn's Designs}{fits adult 22" head}
Materials:
G Hook
3  oz. 4 ply WW  Yarn 

Ch 4, sl st to form a ring.
Row 1:   ch 2, 14 hdc into the ring. sl st to join.  ( 15 sts).
Row 2:  ch 2, 1 hdc in same sp,  2 hdc in each st around,  sl st to 
join.(30 sts).
Row 3:  ch 2, 1 hdc in same sp, * 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts, 2 hdc 
in next st,  repeat * around.   sl st to join.
Row 4:  ch 2,  1 hdc in each st around,   sl st to join.
Row 5:  ch 2, * 1 hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in next st, ending with hdc 
in remaining sts.  sl st to join.
 
~Note~  (the increase rows will not always have even sts, the 
increases are just to help with the curve of the crown. but may not 
always have even amount of sts towards the end).
 
Row 6:  ch 2, * 1 hdc in next 7 sts, 2 hdc in next st, repeat * 
around. sl st to join.
Row 7:   ch 2, * 1 hdc in next 10 sts, 2 hdc in next st, repeat * 
around. sl st to join.
Row 8:  ch 2, * 1 hdc in next 14 sts, 2 hdc in next st, repeat * 
around. sl st to join.
Row 9 : ch 2, * 1 hdc in next 18 sts, 2 hdc in next st, repeat * 
around.  sl st to join.
Row 10: ch 2,  1 hdc in each st around.  sl st to join.

Pattern Row:
Row 11:  ch 3, * sk 2 sts, sc in next st, ch 3, ...repeat from * 
around.  sl st to join.
Row 12-15:  ch 3,  * sc into center of next ch-3 loop, ch 3,  repeat 
from * around. sl st to join.

Row 16:  ch 2, * 2 hdc in center of next ch loop, 3 hdc in center of 
next ch loop,  repeat from * around. sl st to join.
Row 17:  ch 3, * 1 dc in each st around.  sl st to join.
Row 18: ch 2, 1 hdc in each st around. sl st to join.
end off. weave in ends.

change colors on row 11-15, Ch 3 loops for a dramatic effect.
