Materials:
G Hook
1 oz. 4ply ww Solid color
Small amount contrasting color
Small amount of cotton stuffing
 
Make 2 sides: 
Row 1:   ch 24, 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 5 sts, hdc in 
next st, sc in next st, sl st in next st, skip 3 sts, sl st in next st,
sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next 5 sts, 6 dc in end st,
working on opposite side of ch, dc in next 9 sts, for point put 
3 dc in next st, dc in next 9 sts, 3 dc in last st. sl st to join.
 
Row 2:   ch 3, 1 dc in same st, 2 dc in each of next 2 sts, dc in 
each of nenxt 3 sts, hdc in next st, sc in next st, sl st in next st, 
skip next 4 sts, sl st in next st, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in 
each of next 3 sts,  2 dc in each of next 6 sts, dc in next 10 sts, 
for point= 5 dc in next st,  dc in next 10 sts, 2 dc in each of last 
3 sts. sl st to join. end off.

Row 3:   ch 3 ( 2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 3 times,  hdc in next st,
sc in next st, sl st in next st, skip next 4 sts, sl st in next st, 
sc in next st, hdc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) 7 times,
dc in next 11 sts, for point= 3 dc in next st, dc in next 11 sts, 2 
dc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) 3 times, sl st to join.
 
Row 4:   ch 3, dc in next st, ( 2 dc in next, dc in each of next 
2 sts) 2 times, hdc in next st,  sc in next st, sl st in next st, skip 
4 sts, sl st in next st, sc in next st,  hdc in next st, (dc in each of 
next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st) 6 times,  dc in next 13 sts, 
for point = 5 dc in next st, dc in next 13 sts, 2 dc in next st, (dc 
in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st) 3 times,  sl st to join.   
fasten off. 

Trim:
Row 1:  put 2 pieces together, attach contrasting color,
ch 1, *sc in ea st around, putting 2 sc in a st on the curves 
and putting 3 sc in the point.  sl st to join.

Stuff before sewing closed. 

Ruffle:
Row 2:   ch 3, 1 dc, ch1, 2 dc in same sp, * sk 2 sts, 2 dc, ch 1, 
2 dc (shell)  in next st.  repeat from * around.  sl st to join.
             
Row 3:   *ch 3, sc in center of next loop, ... repeat from * around.
sl st to join.   end off.   weave in ends.
 
Sew on rosettes or bows to front of pillow.
