Cluster Stitch Cap{Lyn's Designs}(fits approx. 22-23" head)
Materials:
G Hook
2-3 oz. 4 ply WW yarn 

Ch 4, sl st to form a ring.
for Top:
Rnd 1:   ch 3, 2 dc in same sp to comlete cluster st, * ch 3,  cluster st,  
repeat from * around with a total of 5 clusters in ring = this includes 
starting cluster.

~ always sl st to next sp, and  on each round to begin new round ~

Cluster Stitch:  
HDC Cluster ( cluster st) 
*Yo, insert hook in st, yo, pull through 2 loops,      repeat * 2 more times   
(for a total of 3 hdc in cluster)   yo, and pull thru all 4 loops remaining on 
hook. cluster st made.
 
Rnd 2:  ch 3, 2 dc in same sp to complete cluster,  ch 3,  * cluster st, ch-3, 
cluster st all in next sp, ch 3,  ... repeat from * around, for a total of 10 
clusters.

Rnd 3:  ch 3, 2 dc to complete cluster st, ch 3, *  cluster st, ch-3,  cluster st, 
in next sp,  repeat from * around, for a total of 20 clusters.
 
Rnd 4:  ch 3, 2 dc in same sp to complete cluster, ch 3, *  cluster st in next 
sp, ch 3, cluster st, ch-3,cluster st all in next sp,  repeat from * around, 
total 32 clusters.
 
Rnd 5-11:  ch 3, 2 dc in same sp to complete 
cluster,  ch 1, * cluster st in next sp, ch 1, 
repeat from  * around.  
 
Brim:   
Rnd 12:  ch 2, 1 hdc in each st around.  end off .
