AngelCrafts - Camouflage Jumpsuit

Camouflage Jumpsuit{Lyn's Designs}(fits 0-3 months)
Materials:
8 oz.  4ply yarn  (I used Desert Camo)
G hook 
matching buttons
 
Starting at neckline:
Row 1.   ch 42 ,sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. ch 2, turn.
 
{this row only for neckline}
Row 2: 1 hdc in next 6 sts. 3 hdc in next st. (corner) 
1 hdc in next 6 sts. 3 hdc in next st. (corner). 
1 hdc in next 12 sts. 3 hdc in next st. (corner)
1 hdc in next 6 sts. 3 hdc in next st (corner) 
1 hdc in remaining 6 sts. Ch 2 turn.
 
Row 3. 1 hdc in each st across putting 3 hdc in centers of each corner, 
ch 2 turn.
 
Rows 4-9 repeat row 3.
 
Row 10. armholes. Ch 2 , 1hdc in each st to first corner. Ch 10, 1 hdc
 in each st to next corner. Ch 10, hdc in each st to the end. Ch 3 turn.
 
Row 11. 1 dc in each st across including underarm ch.  Ch 3 turn.
 
Row 12. waistband row.    * 1 fpdc in next st.  1 bpdc in next,  
repeat  * around ending with 1 dc in last st. ch 3 turn.

 
Row 13.   put a bp in a bp st, and a fp in a fp st,  all the way around. 
to keep the pattern going.  be sure to use whichever stitch is first 
when you turn and start working this row.

Row 14. ch 2, turn , 1 hdc in next 13 sts. 2 hdc  in next st, 1 hdc in 
next 10sts, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next 13 sts. 2 hdc in next st. 
1 hdc next 13 sts. 2 hdc next st  1 hdc next 10 sts. 2 hdc next st. 
1 hdc  in remaining sts.
 
Row 15. ch 2, turn. 1 hdc in ea st around join . sl st to other side of
this row to  join. (83 sts)

Row 16-27. ch 2, 1 hdc in ea st  around .sl st to join.


~This is the crotch~
 
Row 28. ch 2, turn, 1 hdc in next 41 sts. Then sl st into 1st st across 
on other side…join
 
Row 29. this is the first leg. Ch 2,  turn, 1 hdc in each st. around, join.
 
Rows 30-39 ch 2 , work 1 hdc in each st around , join.
 
**  Repeat row 29-39 for other leg.  {attaching yarn in crotch area and 
following pattern}
 
Row 40. ch 3 ,  1 dc  in ea st around. (do not turn)
 
For the ankles:
Rows  41-42.  Ch 3 , *  1 fp around next dc, 1 bp around next dc, repeat 
from *  around. join.
 
Row 43. Ch 2,  * 1 fp hdc around next fp, 1 bp hdc around next bp, 
repeat * around.  end off.
 
Sleeves:    attach yarn under arm in center st. 
 
Row 1  : ch 2 , 1 hdc in ea st around.   join
 
Rows 2-10 :  ch 2, turn 1 hdc in ea st around . join
 
Row 11.:  ch 2 ,  1fpdc in next fp, 1 bpdc in next bp around , join . end off.
 
Pocket Flaps
With neckline towards you holding upside down attach yarn in corner 
of row 7, on outfit front, in free loop at corner. 
 
Row 1. ch 1, 1 hdc in next 8, turn 
 
Row 2. ch 1, 1 sc in same sp,  1 hdc next, 1 dc next, 1 triple next, 1 dc 
next,  1 hdc next.1 sc in last.
 
Row 3. ch 1,  turn ,  1 sc in ea st across. end off.
 
2nd pocket
 count 8 sts back from left corner, attach yarn and follow 1st pocket
directions. 
 
Sew flaps down and sew on decorative buttons
 
Back Trim
Attach yarn in V of back , ch 2, hdc evenly up the side, around neckline,
and then on the next corner, 1 hdc in next st, then ch 3 and then hdc in 
very next st, (this creates a button loop) .then hdc evenly down the side 
approx 4 more sts, then ch 3, (button loop) then hdc in next st and all the 
way to end.   You can do this to make 2 button holes, or 3 button holes; 
whichever you prefer.
 
End off. weave in all ends.
