Blanket of Many Colors{Lyn's Designs}
Materials:
G Hook
for this one I used TLC baby soft yarn ;
	A. giggle                  B. purple
	C. blue                     D. pink
	E. Lime green
(This baby blanket is very flexible and can be 
made any size with as many colors as you want to use.)
1.  with color A,   for center strip.  ch 24, 2 dc in 4th ch from hook,
* sk 2 , 3 dc in next st, repeat from * across- end with 3 dc in very 
last st.  (8 shells), turn.
 
2.  ch 3, * 3 dc into sp between next shells, repeat from * across, 
ending with 1 dc in last st. turn.
 
3.  ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, * 3 dc in next sp between shells, repeat * 
across.  ending with 3 dc in top of previous ch 3. turn.
 
4.  repeat row 2.
5.  repeat row 3.
6-25:   repeat rows and 2, alternating each one.   end off color A.
 
attach color B to left side of the center piece,  work along one side....
1.   ch 3, * sk next shell, 3 dc in the next sp, repeat * across. end with 1 dc
in last st. turn.
 
2.   ch 3, 2 dc in same sp,  * 3 dc in next sp, repeat from * across. end with 
3 dc in last st. turn.
 
3.  ch 3, * 3 dc in next sp, repeat from * across, end with 1 dc in last st.
 
alternate rows 2 & 3 for a total of 10 rows.  end off color B.
 
attach color C , work across top of colors A & B .
1.  ch 3, 2 dc in same sp,  * sk next shell, 3 dc into next space between 
     shells, all along this side (color B), continue across next (color A).
     end with 1 dc in last st.  turn.   (13 shells).  turn.
2.  ch 2, 2 dc in same sp, * 3 dc in next sp, across.  turn.
3-10.  repeat row 2.  end off color C.
 
attach color D,  along right side of color A. and work down this side.
1.  ch 3, 2 dc same sp, * 3 dc in each sp between shells across this long side.
    end with 1 dc in very last st.  turn. (18 shells).
 
2.  ch 3, 2 dc same sp, * 3 dc in ea sp between shells across, end with 1 dc in 
last st.   turn.
 
3-10.  repeat row 2.  end off color D.
 
attach color E in any sp between shells, 
1.  ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, * 3 dc in next sp, around, putting 3 dc-ch2-3 dc in each 
corner, continue working completely around .
 
2-8: repeat row 1. end off color E.
 
using color B again, attach in any sp between shells,
follow same directions as for color E, working around for 8 rows.   end off.
 
for Trim ;
using color A,  attach in any corner, ch 1, sc in same sp, * 7 dc in next sp, 
1 sc in next sp, repeat from * around to next corner, 
put (1 sc, ch1, 1 sc into corner sp)  repeating from * around.  join. end off.
