Configured desktops/laptops for new users; installed required hardware and loaded needed application software. Helped on a few projects within the scope of the server/network team.

 Sperry-Sun Drilling Services, a Halliburton Energy Services Company; Houston, TX                    January ‘00-July ’00.
Helped perform failure analysis on varied drilling tools and tool parts. Failure analysis included preparing and mounting specimens for microscope analysis and picture taking for preliminary failure reports. Also, helped with the set up of a data acquisition system and built a computer to be used with WebCam software to speed-up the failure analysis process. Learned to work with minimal supervision.

Summer Intern/CO-OP: Converted ISO 9002 documents from WordPerfect format to a Word 97 format, creating sub-directories on the servers for it to be accessible through the network. Learned to follow professional procedures, meet deadlines, and become a team member. Also learned to accept constructive criticism to improve the quality and quantity of work.
