WHO ARE WE? Alconon Ranch Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient drug and alcohol education and rehabilitation service for those individuals who are serious about getting off and staying off drugs and alcohol forever. Geographically we are located in southern California's Campo Mountains 50 miles east of San Diego, far removed from typical urbanized distractions and civilization. Alconon Ranch Treatment Center is a long-term inpatient rehabilitation facility for people from all over the world. Handling addiction is no easy process... we know. Completing the Alconon program can take anywhere from 1-6 months, but the healing lasts forever. To us, the time it takes to complete our program is irrelevant. Each individual is different. We demand that our graduates accomplish what it is they set out to do - handle addiction forever!

Ranch Treatment Center offers the

and methadone addiction, crack and cocaine addiction and methamphetamine

COSTAlconon
Ranch Treatment Center
is very affordable. Most rehabilitation programs charge a fee
by the day, week or month. Alconon is a flat fee regardless
of length of stay. This fee is covered by most insurance providers.
WHY WE ARE THE BEST The
Alconon
Ranch Treatment Center program itself is unique in its entirety
and a number of components make up Alchonon's high success rate.
Foremost, you must understand Alconon is not a traditional
12 step program. Most treatment centers today rely on a combination
of 12 step recovery methods along with group therapy to handle
the addiction problem. While some people respond to this type
of treatment, the majority unfortunately do not. In fact, similar
to the staggeringly low percentage of people who are able to
stop on their own, only 1 or 2 people who go through traditional
treatment out of 10 may successfully end their drug or alcohol
"career" for life. At Alconon, just the opposite
is happening. Approximately 7 out of 10 people permanently conquer
their addiction after completing the program.
WHAT DOES "ALCOCON" MEAN? Alconon comes from two Greek words, "Alco" meaning
Alcohol and "Non" meaning no. Alconon
therefore means
Alcohol-no.
HOW DO WE BEGIN? The first step is isolation from friends and even family members that encourage alcohol and drug use. This means that the patients have no outside contact with their friends and family until they graduate the program. In the beginning the addict must learn to resist the urge of drinking or drugging by force. In the first 7 days of their stay the addict will be isolated in a locked room and only be accompanied with a Bible and be shown videos specific to overcoming addiction. This is usually described as the most intense part of their stay, excluding the boot-camp type conditions. After the isolation period is over (some take longer then others depending on positive response), the addict becomes part of a group.
LIFE SKILLS FOREVER
Many people do not realize that some of the most
common abilities and skills which addicts use everyday are not
instinctual, but are learned. These are all areas in which drug
addicts and alcoholics have been found to be deficient. These
are NOT instinctive abilities. They require training and practice
to perfect. The Alconon program gives heavy emphasis to life-skills
training. Some of the areas addressed are communication skills,
study skills and applying ethical principles in everyday life.
The result is an individual more comfortable with his life and
less likely to be overwhelmed by it. The practice of these skills
in and of themselves are extremely therapeutic .
THERAPY Therapeutic Procedures - There are a number of therapeutic procedures
unique to the Alconon program. These therapies are designed
to free a person from the guilt, remorse and regret of past
actions, and to restore the self-control that is inevitably
sacrificed when a person becomes addicted to drugs or alcohol.
YOU'VE FOUND WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR Alconon
has a 60%-80% success rate. This is outstanding in the field
of drug abuse and alcoholism treatment and is today setting
new trends in approach methods used all over the world. Compared
with traditional centers, Alconon Ranch Treatment Center must be considered
when one is seriously looking for a permanent solution to drug
and alcohol addiction.
