What the hell is the deal?!

Man what is the deal with snowboarding games. I have just played SSX for the PS2 which in itself is a great game. However it had one flaw that all the others had. Limibility.

What I mean by that is the game is missing things. It is just like the Cool Boarders series. I popped it in and was greeted with 8 characters, 4 of which were playable, which is fairly goo in selection. Although half of them were still "locked up" I still continued to see what was so great about this game. What I saw next was the stupidest concept ever known to video games. Only 2 tracks were available. What is this about? I now have to buy a $35 memory card just to save all the tricks I have done so I can race on another course instead of the same one for the umpteenth time. This game costs $50 and I can't even play half of it. Is this this a demo or something? The outfits and boards I can care less about, but characters and courses? That I do care about. The game is great alredy despite the stripped version.

So how can this be corrected? Well I do not mind unlocking of new courses or things of that nature if the basics are already there. Give me at least 4 tracks and I will be happy to start to "unlock" new stuff. Having to do that for essential stuff is ridiculous. After I finish a trick give me a new course or character instead of a new T shirt. Let me get some of the big stuff first and then some of the unesscessary stuff later. I won't mind having a super character or awesome course at the very end because it will give me something to look forward to just do not put Everything at the end of a list of tricks or accomplishments.

Remember I am not picking on SSX. It is a great game but the genere's flaws are getting annoying. Please someone, do something before I destroy any companies that continue to do stupid things like that.
