Report for February 3, 2003

III Discussion on Guard Coverage

A. The committee will be addressing the needs of post coverage with management. The general consensus of the membership is in, seeing that no post goes uncovered.
Guard Supervision is encouraged to exhaust all means available in filling any and all manpower shortages.

Report

1. Taking/scheduling a random vacation day(s)
a. The 24-hour advanced notice will be required, unless a specific reason is given, as to why the random vacation is needed.
The reason must be of some type of emergency or urgent situation, requiring the time off.,

2. All AVO’s for shift transfer’s are on hold.
a. J. Collier locked in to going to the 1st shift.
b. P. Sterling locked in to going to the 3rd shift.

3. The BFI Audit will be the 24th-26th.
a. Be prepared should the auditor arrive at your post. The post should be well kept.
You should know where your working tools are located, i.e. the Guard Orders, Guard Notices, etc. If we can pass this inspection,
then we will not be subject to the ISO Audit that will follow.

4. There will be a Special Post for the 2nd and 3rd shifts at the Worthington Hotel, starting on the 4th.

5. There will be a Special Post at the Dallas Convention Center, starting on the 9th. Times of guard coverage to be decided later.

6. Plant 7- Some 250 employees will be moved to Plant 7. Textron EZ-Go will be taking in the south end of the building at Plant 7.
There will be a separte entry-exit point. However, we may have the security on the entire building. The guard coverage will be decided
later.

7. Plant J- No known activity at this time.

8. The lack of guard supervision during the Christmas-New Year’s Holiday period will be addressed. A guard supervisor will be
working the 1st shift during the holiday period’s.
