Meier Mortgage, Inc. was established in June of 1995, with a home base in Austin, Texas, doing business throughout the State of Texas and specializing in Low Down Payment, Zero Down Payment Loan Programs, and 100% financing with No Cash Out of Pocket Expense. Since its inception, it has continued to grow not only in Austin, Texas, but has opened several branches in Texas servicing various areas; such as: El Paso, Beeville, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, and Seguin.

R.C. Meier, the President and owner of Meier Mortgage, Inc., opened Meier Mortgage, Inc. in June 1995, after seventeen years experience in the mortgage industry. His intentions were to establish a mortgage loan brokerage that would facilitate minorities and the median income clients with the best mortgage loan programs available throughout Texas, along with assisting other clients with the standard loan programs. These additional mortgage loan programs consist of: FHA, Conventional (non-conforming and conforming), VA, FMHA, FHLMC, FNMA, Texas Equity-Cash-out, Construction, Construction to Perm, One-Time-Close, Gift Equity, Purchase Money Second Liens, Home Improvement loans, and various Down Payment Assistance Programs available throughout the State of Texas and the City of Austin, El Paso, Corpus Christi, and Seguin.
During his seventeen years of experience in the mortgage lending industry, R. C. Meier held significant positions as ProBank Mortgage, Inc.- Senior Vice President/Retail Manager-Austin Area, Norwest Mortgage, Inc.- Branch Manager III-Austin Area, Guaranty Federal Savings and Loan - producing Branch Manager, and Holland Mortgage Investment Corporation - producing Branch Manager.
Some of his responsibilities consisted of setting-up of new account relationships and turning them over to qualified staff members. While working for an influential financial institution he was instrumental in establishing and developing a one-time close program for the State of Texas. The area managed became the number one in the Nation in one-time close production with the lowest rate of errors. He oversaw and supervised loan production, processing, underwriting, closing, and advertising; in addition to establishing various offices in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Rio Grande Valley, and Central Texas.

Meier's experience and knowledge of the mortgage loan industry; along with his professionalism and motivation skills are very beneficial to his staff at Meier Mortgage, Inc. and the company. Cheryl Boswell
Sr. Loan Coordinator
Cheryl Boswell, Senior Loan Coordinator, came to Meier Mortgage, Inc. in October 1997. Cheryl brought with her to Meier Mortgage, Inc., six years of mortgage loan knowledge and experience, with a past history of the banking retail lending industry, specializing in home improvement loans.
Cheryl's experience has consisted of originating and processing of various types of mortgage loans to include: FHA, Conventional (conforming and non-conforming), Texas Equity Cash-out, Construction, Construction to Perm, Gift Equity, Purchase Money Second Liens, Sub-Prime, Home Improvement Loans, and various Down Payment Assistance Programs. Cheryl Boswell originated, processed, drew documents, closed and funded over $2,500,000.00 of Tax-Exempt Bond Money loans through the Capital Area Community Housing Authority for the State of Texas, in 2000-2001.
During her career, she held significant positions as Senior Loan Coordinator, Loan Officer, Senior Loan Processor, Office Manager, Retail Lending Manager-Austin Area, and a Retail Lending Underwriter at the corporate level for a bank in Dallas, Texas. In that position, Cheryl prepared all Home Improvement Loan Documents for 41 Branches throughout the State of Texas.
