The Miracle Evangelistic Fellowship
may or may not be like a lot of other fellowships, but we feel we are
different in that we do not claim to be denominational but rather that we are
a "fellowship" of ministers. Born again by the blood of Jesus
Christ and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and walking and working
in the unity of love. The same love that Jesus prayed so much for in John's
gospel chpt. 17. If we look close at
that chapter we will find that Jesus had a mission, a goal and a vision that
only through his obedience on the cross and the manifold power of God at the
Resurrection, that all who would believe Him would and could walk with the
vision He had and still has for you (and us) today. In John's gospel we could
find a teaching wherein Jesus prays for himself (Vs 1-5) for the disciples,
apostles, (Vs 6-19) and then for the Church (Vs 20-26).
Abraham
had a dream, a dream of a son. Jacob had a dream of being a ruler. Jesus had
a dream of reconciling man back into fellowship
with God the Father.
Our
dream (vision) is to teach and train men, women, boys and girls for the work
of the ministry. Our vision is to reach every nation
under God with those who have become established and bear forth the fruits of
the Spirit in their every day life. Yes our VISION was always to raise up a
training school. These are some of the things that God has spoken to us about
to raise up "not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the
Lord." (Zech 4:6)
The Lord gave Bro. and Sis Burnell
this vision several years ago. Bro. Burnell has pastored some twenty (20)
years and cried out and wept from his own pulpit and the pulpits of others for
God's people (ministers) to walk together in love and unity of Spirit as a
mighty Army.
Abraham,
Jacob, and Jesus as well as ourselves are basing our VISION because of the
Word of God dropped in our hearts and spirit. Not by man but by God's Spirit
alone. This being confirmed over and over again throughout the years. We
believe in the Word of God!
We
know that divine unity can only come through total submission. Yes
submission.
Submission of each part of the Body to it's Head. And that Head is Jesus Christ.
As has been quoted before, unity solves problems and
produces answers like nothing else . Submission among humble, teachable and
dedicated people does not rule out counsel exhortation or even loving reproof
of one another. The call of Bro. Burnell and Sis Burnell comes out of
Ephesians 4:11-16. Our desire is for the Body to come to a maturity and with
God's help and grace and giving wisdom help them to build the work that God
has called them to do. We ask for ministers dedicate and rededicate themselves
afresh and anew to prayer and to the needs of each other.
Sister Burnell was given the VISION and plans for this Fellowship
several years ago and like a voice of one crying in the wilderness she has
cried out for workers to stand beside her and Bro. Burnell. Desiring men and
women of like mind. They have seen false prophets, teachers as shepherds try
to get into this family of true workman. By God's Spirit of revelation those
ones have come and gone, leaving all a little wiser and deeply hurt as well.
Those over the years that have left have left due to pride, self-exaltation,
lack of dedication, and commitment to the Lord. Some were led to go elsewhere
and go their own ways. But once again God would reaffirm the hope and the
VISION within Sis Burnell ' s heart and she would get up from her station of
prayer and go forth in His power
and strength alone. Bro. Burnell is that pastor, teacher, prophet and apostle that God has called him to be.
With the vigor of the Spirit
within him many have likened him to the warrior eagle that has a single eye
to see much that some times others do not see.
It is difficult to birth men/women and boys and girls into the work of
the ministry. This takes everyone to carry the same burden for the same work.
Some have caught the VISION to work and work together even in the face of
obstacles and in the fields of the impossible trusting their God as the
Author and Developer of their faith.
We are not trying to rob or steal from other churches and fellowships
but we do desire workman and watchman that will pray and work with us in this
that God has ordained to be manifested.
Are you one of those who will stand with us in prayer? We need you! We
need your love. We take this opportunity to thank those who have stood with
us yes even as the fires have come upon us over the years!
We
appreciate each of you and ask that daily we, as well as the Fellowship, be
lifted up to the throne of God.
