The Capacitors

This 3 X 3 arrangement is used with an input voltage of 7200V. When running 14.4kV, things have to be changed around.

At the Y2K Texas Teslathon in Ft. Worth, we ran the system at 14,400 volts for the first time, and found that our coil performs much better with the higher voltage input (with the same input power). The capacitors are switched around, to where there are 2 strings, 5 cap's per string. This gives a total rating of .1uF @ 30kVAC. We got our best output using this configuration.

Here they are. The jumpers make it really easy to change the series/parallel configuration when needed.
