Power Rankings

The Top Ten
1. Toronto (16-2)
Leading Scorer: Rasheed Wallace 22.6
Leading Rebounder: Rasheed Wallace 7.2
Leading Assists: Steve Francis 6.8
Comments: Well, I have no clue how Ace and his Raptors have the best record
in the league. They have some good offense in Sheed, Pippen, Francis.
Defence isn't too shabby either. But what they really lack is a natural
center. Martin is getting 2 blocks a game but he really isn't a center.

2. LA Clippers 15-4
Leading Scorer: Shaquille O'Neal 31.8
Leading Rebounder: Shaquille O'Neal 13.8
Leading Assists: Nick Van Exel 9.2
Comments: Well they have the C, PF, PG, and possibly SG positions down well.
They could really use another defensive stopper. Maybe trade Rice for one.
Other then that, the Clippers are good to go.

3. Philadelphia 15-9
Leading Scorer: Stephon Marbury 23.0
Leading Rebounder: Pat Ewing 9.9
Leading Assists: Stephon Marbury 8.7
Comments: Well Amos, the BSS trade leader, has done a great job putting
together a pretty complete team. Ewing - AD - Mash - Hughes - Marbz...
pretty damn complete if you ask me, with a couple of nice things off the
bench. Look for this team to be on the move in the power rankings!

4. Phoenix 8-5
Leading Scorer: Tracy McGrady 24.1
Leading Rebounder: Antoine Walker 8.1
Leading Assists: Jason Williams 7.0
Comments: Well this is a pretty good team. I think if they maybe got a
better PG and/or C, they could be a real contender. Jamison is off to a bad
start, maybe think about dealing him?

5. LA Lakers 9-7
Leading Scorer: Gary Payton 24.7
Leading Rebounder: Hakeem Olajuwon 6.0
Leading Assists: Gary Payton 9.0
Comments: Well they have a pretty complete team up to the C position. They
need some rebounding bad. Maybe package up Hakeem and Howard or someone off
the bench and get a better C.

6. Atlanta 6-4
Leading Scorer: Keith Van Horn 19.9
Leading Rebounder: Dikembe Mutombo 14.3
Leading Assists: Jalen Rose 4.3
Comments: Well... all this team needs is a passer and they're set... could we
see Sprewell or Jalen Rose move soon? There movement on this list depends on
it, hehe. On a good note, Van Horn is really kicking ass. I guess that
Duncan deal really turned out to be good for them. Mutmobo is leading the
league in blocks and rebounds.

7. Sacramento 10-8
Leading Scorer: Shawn Marion 24.8
Leading Rebounder: Shawn Marion 11.1
Leading Assists: Sam Cassell 9.0
Comments: Interesting... Jermaine O'Neal gets hurt for pretty much the
entire simming and Eric Snow takes his spot in the lineup... and he did
pretty well getting almost 7 assists, and with Cassell's 9 assists. Maybe
deal Cassell or Snow and O'Neal for a good PF? But good work pip, even
though you didn't do any!

8. Denver 8-7
Leading Scorer: Michael Finley 24.4
Leading Rebounder: Zydrunis Ilgauskas 9.0
Leading Assists: Penny Hardaway 5.3
Comments: Well, McDyess goes down and they still lead the division. I think
the only thing they may lack is a natural PG... maybe Penny or Finley FOR a
PG?

9. Dallas 8-8
Leading Scorer: Chris Webber 24.9
Leading Rebounder: Chris Webber 10.4
Leading Assists: Darrell Armstrong 5.7
Comments: I'm rather disappointed by the display this team put on... Maybe if
they still had Terrell Brandon, they'd be kicking ass? hmmmmm... I'd get a
passing PG to compliment Mr. Webber.

10. Orlando 5-6
Leading Scorer: Kevin Garnett 24.0
Leading Rebounder: Kevin Garnett 11.6
Leading Assists: Damon Stoudamire 4.9
Comments: Well I'm suprised... I thought they'd start off a little better
than this. I mean, two of the best SF/PF's in basketball on the same team...
you'd think they might do better. I guess Damon Stoudamire isn't cutting it
at the point?

AND THE REST

14. New Jersey 6-9
15. Houston 5-10

17. Chicago 3-10
18. Cleveland 3-16
