Our fifth year! Thanks to many great folks who keep on going and giving year after year! Bob and Maggie, Darenda, Lurch, Stan and Marq, Joker and Shazzie, Laurel, Ed, Carrie and Rick, Theresa, Jimbo, Bruce and Gena, and all the folks we get to work with each year putting the run together! We all have fun but most of all being able to provide food and toys for needy families of Grayson County is the greatest reward!
Rain or shine, the first Sunday of each December we hold the annual 'For the Kids' Toy Run. Each year we gain in numbers and contributions. All of the proceeds go directly to the Salvation Army of Grayson County. With the proceeds from these toy runs, the Salvation Army was able to help over 2000 families and 3000 little angels! The Toy Run has been the Salvation Army's largest single donor!
With the cooperation of the cities of Sherman and Denison, and all our local, county, and state police forces and Sherriff's Posse, we look forward each year for a safe and productive ride!
