Chrono Cross Walkthough:

Helps You Beat The Game
 
 
This walkthrough will probably not be finished in the near futer, typing these things takes a lot out of you. Remember, I am writing this walkthrough as I go along and progress in my owon game. If You would like to see a different walkthrough that someone has emailed me, click here
If I haven't gotten as far as you, keep checking to see if I have posted anything helpful to you. So far, I cannot find a site that has a complete walkthrough yet anyway so just bear with me.

The Walkthrough

The only thing that I am going to tell you about the very beginning is once you turn the switch off, go to that weird looking tower thing in the middle of the room and push X.
Now that I am done with that, I can start listing this by the order and locations.

Arni Village:

    First, go to farthest house on the right.  go down the stairs to the far right and talk to the fisherman.  He will give you a necklace.  Next go to the peir and talk to Leena. (for those who have played Chrono Trigger, this might sound like Lucca?) she will ask you to get three Kimodo Dragon Scales for her necklace.  Before you go collecting, talk to the guy standing by the big swordfish.  If you say that the fish is probably the one from the legend, he will give you a scale, for free.  Leave Arni Village to the far right and go to the South West to...
 

Lizard Rock:

    In able to get komodo scales, you must battle the dragons and in order to do that you need to follow my instructions.

    1 Komodo Dragon-Rock-&-Roll:

 Go next to the shell in your path and push X.  then go towards the left, but on the bottom half.  a Komodo Dragon will run up through a cave.  go to the shell next to the cave and push X.  then go up to where the Dragon ran.  It will try to run back through the cave wich you have plugged up with the shell.  run into it and you will begin the battle.  defeat him and claim the first Komodo Scale.
 

    2 Komodo Dragon-RUN!:

 From where you caught #1 go to the left of the screen and advance to the next screen. If you go up, you can go back down the otherside by "falling" off the edge.  You will hear the sound made by a runnung Komodo Dragon.  That's your signal to run.  catch it, fight it, and collect the second Komodo Scale.
 

    3 Komodo Dragon-AMBUSH!:

Go to the southern most region in Lizard Rock and climb up the green fallen tree thing to advance screens.  Get on the ledge and move to do get to the previous screen.  walk to the edge of the cliff and when the Komodo Pup gets near, push the X button to jump on him.  After defeating komodo pup and komodo mom, you recieve the thrid and final Komodo Scale.  After that, go to the place where you caught #2 and go to the left as far as you can to advance screens and go to...
 

Opassa Beach:

Walk out towards the water.  Shortly, Leena will come and ask for her scales.  You begin talking about memories and suddenly, you sense something.  You look around and see a huge wave coming.  Before the wave hits, a green swirling substance encircles you and fends off the wave just begore you slip into unconciousness.  You awake to the sound of an old woman's voice scolding you for sleeping on such a dangerous beach.  You inquire about Leena and the woman tells you she is at the peir babysitting.  You decide to return to...
 

Arni Village 2:

If you talk to anybody, they will call you stranger (strange, isn't it?) Go ahead and see if Leena remembers you.  When you talk to her, you remind her of her old next door neighbor named (whatever named you picked, from now on You will be Serge) Serge.  Pick any of the responses.  She will tell you that the gravesite is up on ...

Cape Howl:

Go to Cape Howl and work your way North.  After advancing screens, go to the rock and push X.  The rock is a tombstone that reads: R.I.P. Our beloved Serge, age 7.  No one can take away from him nor give anything to him.  What came from the sea has returned to the sea.  (or something like that.) After reading the tombstone, Karsh, Solt, and Peppor will tell you to follow them and they call you ghostboy.  Kid interferes and a battle begins.  After defeating those losers, Kid offers to join you, and I wouldn't refuse.  You go back to your supposed home in...

Arni Village 3:
Go to the house where you got the fishermans necklace.  show it to him.  After he tells you to leave do so.  As you exit, Mojo (the doll) will say "Boogum" after a lot of gibberish, he joins you and Kid.  Next, follow Kid's idea: head to Termina, but you must first get through...

Fossil Valley:

Go up to the soldier by the ladder and LIE.  Tell him you are the (can't remember the word) Whatever.  Go up the ladder and after talking to the other dragoon, go up by the cow skull and you will receive A Heavy Skull (Skully) If you can find out how (I wont tell you this cause I can't remember and I am to lazy to find out.  the only way I will find out is if someone e-mails me how to) get the Purple flower.  go back down to the lower level and upon exiting you will battle Solt and Peppor again.  After that continue to...

Termina:

First, go to the inn and touch the record of fate to save.  I also suggest you pay the inkeeper to stay.  100g is not really that much money and besides, it's worth it.  Then go as far right as you can after you see Korcha.  You will eventually come to some stairs leading down, go down.  Go to wear Glenn and Lady Riddel are praying. After they leave, go to the first screen of Termina.  Then go up to the highest level there and talk to the old guy polishing the statue.  After that, go down one set of stairs and go to the right and advance screens.  Then go up.  Go into the building to your right adn walk to the back but, do not talk to the blacksmith if you want him later on in the game.  go out through the door near the smith and talk to Peirre.  go out the door near the bottom of the screen and talk to the kid runing around.  He will give you Peirre's missing Hero's Medal.  Go talk to Peirre agin and give him back his medal.  After he joins your party, go to...

Vipor Manor:

Go to the bottom right hand corner of the Manor being careful not to alert the guards (unless you want to fight them. Don't be scared, they are wimpy.) Go into the door down there nad andvance screens.  Next, go to the door that is on the north part of the screen.  Go inside and talk to the man near the top of the room.  To feed the dragons successfully, feed the reddest one first.  After you feed 10, go back to the man and go to the top right part of the room push X near the little cupboard thing. Go back the main gate and fight those guards under the little overhanging thing.  Then, enter the Manor.  Go over to the little statue of a snake and push X.  turn the thing as many times as you want.  After you fall into the prison and beat up the guards and steal their uniforms, go through the door on your right.  Talk to the guards in front of the door and don't choose any of the choices.  The password is silence.  They will let you in.  Go into the room and follow Kid's advice, Grab Everything You Can. (saving the pendant on the wall for last, of course.)  Last, grab the pendant and beat up on the lady's bulbs.  after that, leave and go to the right and advance screens.  Go to the left and check any doors that you want.  Go to the far left and go through the door.  Then, go through the door on the opposite side of the room.  Explore here until you find the Kitchen. (I can't remember where it is. please email me if you know.)  Talk to Glenn and then follow him.  after he moves away from the wall he is writing on, go look at it.  Return to the main room and turn the knob the correct number of times.  The door will open and you will go through it.  Go down the hallway on your left to get the the Wisemans place. Beat up on the little brat and listen to what the old geezer tells you.  Return to the room after you turned the knob.  Follow the oldman's instructions and ride up in the elevator.  After getting up, SAVE!  Then attack the middle poltergeist.  After that, go into that room.  A bunch of stuff happens and you end up fighting Lynx.  After you beat him, a bunch of stuff will happen, including Miss Riddel being taken hostage by Kid.  You find yourself on a balcany.  Guess the only way down.  You got it, JUMP! You will land in the water and be knocked unconscious.  When you awaken, you find yourself in a shack with some old lady.  You later discover that you are in ...

Guldove:

Get out of the shack and watch the cinema.  Go to where Korcha tells you to go witch is in the top left corner of Guldove.  Go into the tower and talk to the old guy.  Then, push  sqare button and select Astral Amulet.  He will tell you something. (save) Go stock up on a few green elements and Return to Korcha.  Head to...

Termina 2:

Go talk to Korcha, and he will temporarily join your party.  Go back to the grave site of Glenn's brother.  Go up into that house that Greco goes into and talk to him.  He will join your party also.  (I suggest having Korcha and Greco in your party.)  leave Termina and head to...

Walk out until you find the green thing. Once near it, Push Square and use the Astral Amulet.  After returning to the Home World, head to...

Hydra Marshes:

Go talk to the guy blocking your path and he will move. Head to the top left corner of the marshes.  I ignored the ghost and went up.  Keeping going in that direction and you will fight lots of dwarves.  I think that you should battle as much as you can before taking on the hydra.  Eventually, you will fight the Dwarf Cheiftan and his men.  In this battle, take out the Cheiftan as fast as possible followed by the Daffy Dwarves, they are the only ones who can use elements.  After this, follow the cheiftan to battle the Hydra.  Once defeated, the hydra will fall over and you can walk up to it and push X to receive the Hydra Humour.
