I found myself,
in the park one day
Sitting under a beautiful tree
full of large green leaves
Blowing softly in the wind
running my fingers thru the lush green grass
And I lay back
looking up into the clouds watching them float
across the deep blue sky,
wondering if somewhere in this world was there someone
else out there doing the same thing,
feeling the same way, longing to share the same dreams
They've kept locked away in their heart safe from the world
knowing that someday that one special person will walk into your life
holding the key to unlock all that you have saved your whole life just for them.
Just then it starts to rain so I get up to go home.
As I start walking, I have a strange feeling inside of me...
I stop........and turn around.....I look up into your eyes.......my heart starts to pound......
I can't believe it................it is you...........
the one my hearts been waiting for.................
