RAP stands for "Rythemically Accentuated Poetry" You probably know what it is. It is not as easy as it seems to master this art. Rapping is done to a series of repetitive base beats that you "Flo"(rap) to. usually rappers are born rappers but there are ways to improve your skill...
1.FREESTYLE-this is where you come up with stuff of the top of ure head and make it up az you go along. practicin dis everyday will help you to improve your overall rhymin skillz. Get someone to make a beat for you to rap to or get a CD wit just music on it to flo to. The more u do it da better you'll get. start off wit slow beats and az you progress get faster music.
2.LISTEN-listen to a lot of rap on da radio CD, etc. the more you listen to it the more u will be able to come up with rhymes tied in to da rap world. It helps you to develop.
3.STYLE-az in all elements of hip hop (breakin, graffiti, d.j.in, and rappin) you need to develop your own rappin style. come up for a way for ure voice to sound that reflects yourself and your personality.
4.RAP BOUT YOU-come up with original flos. rap about yourself your life a situation somethin you hate. i usually rap about wut i am feeling at da moment. express yourself! dats wut its all about. ....
5.FLO WIT A FRIEND-find somebody to flo wit and battle dem or juss rhyme wit em every chance you get. IT WILL MAKE U BETTER, trust me.
