"Obituary for Doris Miller Mrs. Doris Marie Miller, 63, of Shiloh passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in Mexia. Funeral services will be Friday, November 28, 2008 at 2 PM at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Rev. Rick Gray will officiate with interment to follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Mrs. Miller was born November 3, 1945 to Conrad and Dessie Alewine Carter in Mexia. She was Classified Manager of The Mexia Daily News where she had been employed for many years. Mrs. Miller was a lifetime resident of the Mexia area. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Billy Miller and wife, Elrose of Mexia and Mike Miller and wife, Jody of Loxley, Alabama; daughter, Kim Walpole and husband, Charles "Bubba" of Mexia; grandchildren, Brian Miller, Candace Winstead, Melody Surginer, Leanna Walpole, Cory Degruy, Madison and Morgan Miller; great-granddaughter, Riley Winstead; sisters, Susan Carter of Mexia and Beverly Aguero; brother, Ronnie Carter of Mexia. He is survived by his parents: Wayne & Michelle Sterling; sister: Misti Sterling; Niece: Emily Sterling; grandfather: Buford Rayfield Ratcliff Jr. & wife Dell; aunts & uncles: Ray Ratcliff, Michael Ratcliff, Melissa Ratcliff, Teresa Ratcliff, Jimmy & Sandra Sterling, Rory & Tammy Sterling, Michael Sterling, Tom & Leona Page, Veronica Hart, Dreu & Victoria Mayhew; and 24 cousins. Visitation is 6-8p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00p.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park."
