Floyd was born to Roscoe and Jewel Pringle on March 17, 1923 in Dallas, Texas. He was the 4th of 8 siblings and an identical twin. Floyd married his lifetime partner and beloved Ethel Ann LaLonde on February 03, 1950 in Rockwall, Texas. They settled in Big Spring in 1964. Floyd was known in the business world as "Cotton". He was a welder by trade and spent his lifetime servicing and selling welding supplies and equipment for many years at General Welding Supply and at age 57 he opened his own business "Welding Equipment and Repair". He was a long time member of the Optimist Club where he was famous for his motor cross and dune buggy trail rides that entertained many in the desert terrain of West Texas. He was a member and beloved brother of the fellowship at Spring Tabernacle Church. Floyd leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his beloved wife of 59 years Ethel Pringle of Big Spring; his four children: Wanda Shoemake and her husband David of Bedford, Barbara Hall and her husband Mike of Big Spring, Catherine Wendland and her husband Wendt of Big Spring and Chuck Pringle and his wife Carmen of Ennis. In addition to his wife and four children he leaves to cherish his memory: brother Jimmy Pringle and his wife Joyce of Alba; ten grandchildren: Kevin Johnson and his wife Mechelle of Mexia, Deidrea Laux and her husband Thomas of Carrollton, Judy Pierce and her husband Billy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Catherine Vizcaino and her husband Matt of McKinney, Christie Larson and her husband Trev of Big Spring, Zac Hall of Big Spring; Amanda Pringle of Ennis, MaLeah Arguello and her husband Andy of Big Spring, Natalie Pringle of Ennis and Cheyenne Shoemake of Bedford; seventeen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. "Texas, died Monday, May 10, 2010, at Marcy House in Big Spring. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Spring Tabernacle Ministries with Pastor Mona Lue Tonn officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Ethel was born November 27, 1924 in Ignacil (Durango), Colorado. She married Floyd (Cotton) Pringle on February 3, 1950 and settled in West Texas. Floyd preceded her in death February 2, 2009. Their marriage spanned fifty nine years. Ethel was a loyal member of Spring Tabernacle Ministries. She served on many Hi-Sky and Signal Mountain Emmaus teams and was on the prayer vigil until her death. She was a member of R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) and was a volunteer extraordinaire. She was a Girl Scout leader, childcare provider and an ironing lady during the years that her children needed her and entered the work force later in life. She worked at Artifacts Interior Design, Scenic Mountain Hospital (formerly Malone & Hogan), TG&Y, The Tom Boy Shop and Dunlaps. Survivors include her three daughters, Wanda Shoemake and her husband David of Bedford, Texas, Barbara Hall and her husband Mike and Catherine Wendland and her husband Wendt, all of Big Spring and one son, Chuck Pringle and his wife Carmen of Ennis, Texas. She had ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Spring Tabernacle Ministries, Big Spring, Texas; Signal Mountain Emmaus, Big Spring, Texas or R.S.V.P., Big Spring, Texas. "Neva Leona White October 13, 1920 - December 3, 2005 Neva Leona White, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005 in the Conroe Health Care Center. She was born October 13, 1920, in Mexia, Texas. Neva was a graduate of Mexia High School in 1937 and attended Westminister Junior College. Later, she attended Stamps Music School in Dallas and became one of the teachers. She was a noted pianist and played for different Stamps quartets. In 1952, after moving to Conroe, she joined her husband in the insurance business where she was active until her retirement. She was also the manager of Sears, Roebuck and Company in Conroe from 1956 to 1962. In her spare time, she assisted the sick and elderly in the Conroe area and worked with the Golden Years Sunshine Group for senior citizens for eleven years. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas Calvin (T. C.), she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and John Powell of Montgomery; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Cathy White of Lambertville, New Jersey; sister, Reba Black of Mexia; brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Anita Kay Fleming of Mexia; six grandchildren, Kathy Gay Mares and her husband Bodie, Robert Powell, Ivy Powell Brown, Toney Powell, Robert Beacham and wife Deanna, and Michael Beacham. Nine great grandchildren, John Taylor Powell, Tiffany Mares, Victoria Mares, Caitlyn Mares, Grace Brown, Kristin Beacham, Courtney Beacham, Devon Beacham and Michael Beacham also survive. Graveside funeral services and interment will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the Shiloh Cemetery, Mexia. Officiating will be Rick Gray, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia.
