"Mr. Kenneth Warren Whiteside, 46 of Fairfield, passed away January 29, 2007 in Houston. Mr. Whiteside was born May 11, 1960 to Fred and Maxine McAdams Whiteside in Fairfield. Mr. Whiteside has lived in Fairfield all of his life and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He had many joys in life gardening, carpentry work, building his own home, Dallas Cowboys, riding four wheelers. One joy he loved the most was babies, his children and grandchildren brought lots of joy to his life. He is survived by parents Fred and Maxine Whiteside of Fairfield, wife Lisa Whiteside of Fairfield, daughter Kimberly Whiteside Neal of Teague, son Kristopher Warren Whiteside of Fairfield, daughter Sara Amber Whiteside of Fairfield, daughter Levi Nicole Whiteside of Fairfield. Brother William Leslie Whiteside of Lanley, sister Angela Kaye Whiteside Tibbitt of Waco. Grandchildren Justin Neal, Warren Neal, Sophia Neal, Aynslie Whiteside and Carson Whiteside. Pallbearers: Jeff Whiteside, Chad Whiteside, Phillip Gaitan, Heath Jones, David Barnes, L.J. McAdams, Ronald Jones and Danny Fields. Honorary Pallbearers: Ed Prasil, Wes Kehn, Jessie Lee Whiteside, Woody English, LaSalle Tippens, Lowell Dyer, Paul Milliff, Jimmy McAdams. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2007 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Chapel with Bro. Don Suits officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery."

"Sara Whiteside - Fairfield
Sara Amber Whiteside was born April 26, 1987 in Temple, Texas to Lisa and the late Kenneth Whiteside. Sara grew up in Fairfield, Texas and attended Fairfield schools where she gathered numerous friends. During high school she participated in journalism, tennis, the Spanish and Art Clubs. She was editor of the school year book and also competed in U.I.L. computer applications. Her first job was as a waitress at Something Different; next she was a waitress at Pontes, and then she sold peaches for Cooper Farms. She graduated Fairfield High in 2005 and went on to attend Blinn University of College Station, Texas. There she worked at a local tanning salon. Her next year of college was attended at Navarro College of Mexia, Texas, and at each college she studied the basic classes needed to become a dental hygenist. Sara was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church since childhood and was saved July 12, 1998. Sara had a vibrant smile that easily blossomed and filled any room with sunshine. She loved kuala and panda bears, penguins, the beach, dolphins and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars. Two of her favorite shows were "Friends" and "The Girls Next Door". She loved mexican food, doritoes, and so much more. She loved to party and be surrounded by family and friends. She recently worked at the local Xtreme Tan Salon. Unfortunately, Sara took a late night drive that ended tragically on October 6th and later parted from us at ETMC of Tyler, Texas October 7th, to walk the heavens with her beloved Daddy. Sara was preceded in death by her daddy Kenneth Whiteside; great grandparents Forrest and Ethel Jones and Charlie and Lola Peachie Baty; W.O. Whiteside and Vernon and Cleo McAdams. Sara is survived by her Mother Lisa Jones Whiteside, brother and sister-in-law -Kristopher (Bubba) and Emily Whiteside, sister and brother-in-law - Kimberly Whiteside Neal and Jason Neal and sister - Levi Whiteside; Grandparents - F.E. and Evelyn Jones and Maxine and Fred Whiteside; Great Grandmother - Vida Whiteside; Uncles and Aunts - Ronald and Elyne Jones, Leslie Whiteside, Chris and Angie Tibbet; cousins - Jeff and Tina Whiteside, Chad and Tiffany Whiteside, Jessie Lee Whiteside, Kallista Whiteside, Heath Jones, Geoff and Rachael Marshall; much loved boyfriend Barry Vaughn; nieces and nephews - Justin, Warren and Sophia Neal; Aynslie (pooh bear) and Carson Whiteside. We miss you, Sara! Sara's viewing will be held October 10, 2007 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield with Don Suits officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Whiteside, Chad Whiteside, Jake Porter, L.J. McAdams, David Barnes, Heath Jones, Paul Goollsby and Jose Gallegos. Burial will be at Mt. Zion."
