Waller is a small town about 25 miles North West of Houston (42 miles to downtown) on U.S Hwy 290. Waller is growing fast with a population of 2092 (2000 Census) (1990 Census was 1493). Waller has several good antique shops. We have good churches and schools. If you are looking for any general information on Waller, Texas E-mail me. Also try the the City of Waller web page. If you are looking for a place to rent my suggestion is to visit our town and pick up a local newspaper. There are several free papers that run local classifieds. NOW OPEN! The Best Value Inn, Waller (936)372-2227. Located at 19777 Stokes Road (FM2920 & Hwy 290 Bypass), behind Jack in the Box. They have 40 units, swimming pool, a small meeting room, Kitchenetts, Suites with Zacuzzi, Free Continental Breakfast, A conference center may be built at a later date.
