The Lady Eagles defeated Bruceville-Eddy Tuesday in the district opener. They played a very aggressive game with 16 total steals. Leading scorers for the Lady Eagles were Brandi young with 16 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks, and she shot 80% from the free throw line. Katy Frerichs had 15 oints, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Kristi Davis had 9 points, and 4 rebounds. Bonnie Johnson had 7 points, 3 assists and 6 steals. Connie Johnson had 2 steals and 2 assists. Lauren Jones had 4 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. The 110% award goes to Brandi Young. She had an outstanding defensive game with 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Great job ladies.
