A Night at the Ninths

A Meeting to celebrate The Warrior's Birthday

The March "Birthday Season" began on the 18th as the corporation celebrated The Warrior's birthday at the traditional venue - Henry IX's Tavern, one of the regular haunt of us TTT members. In attendance were The Warrior and Pearl, The DJ, Hobo Joe, The Scorch and Phantex.

As you can see from the pictures above, the evening started off fairly quietly, with smiles all round.

Soon, however the usual antics began with Tex and Hobo Joe catching up with a couple of lads who were a bit over-enthusiatic in their St Patrick's Day spirit, as evidenced below

Soon things were getting a bit lively with talk of nicking a Guinness Poster soon quelled when the bar staff spotted The DJ's slightly obvious efforts to remove the tacks. This humiliating defeat left the DJ with smoke coming from his ears, literally....

But 'twas all in good fun as the Irish would say. We yarned away about various corporate matters, with the presence of the camera obviously causing Tex to be a little nervous by the looks of the picture below...

The Warrior was also getting into the spirit of things, attempting to drink all his birthday presents all at once...

Soon the inevitable arrived and last drinks were called, but not before the meeting gathered for once last picture and a tribute to our fellow Yobbo's United webpage owners - The Air Guitar Association of Australia. We've got Hobo Joe on Bass, The Warrior on lead guitar, Tex on rhythm guitar and vocals and The DJ on drums, and The Scorch, well I guess he must be the Roadie...

The night was coming to a close as HHH arrived in time to take us all home. Souvenir pint glasses were grabbed and we headed off for yet another hare-raising journey in the infamous Monaro.
