Hello Mr. Website, may I enter you?? Welcome to the World of the Mixmaster McCoy, also known as the DJ. The Mixmaster got his name from his role as the self appointed DJ at all TTT functions. After a couple of beers he's at that CD player quicker than you can say "I wanna rock and roll all night and party everyday". The Mixmaster's taste in music ranges from Dean Martin to The Clash but he has an almost uncanny knack of picking the right song for the right moment, whether it be "Computer Games" or "Girls on Film". And he will always be ready to get down and boogie when the music starts to play Here's the Mixmaster strutting his stuff on a Saturday night:
You may be interested to know that his name 'The DJ' actually has a double meaning. You see, The DJ's employer is David Jones - and to David Jones The Mixmaster has a religious like devotion which some say is extreme and others say is just plain scary. The Mixmaster's devotion to David Jones has lead some TTT members to believe that he is actually secretly married to the David Jones company.
The DJ also has an occasional second job as a cleaner, although his contract has recently been cancelled and he is now on the look-out for some new work.
The DJ is the most academically minded of TTT members, having completed an Arts degree, and is now in the process of studying for a Business degree. This is quite amazing when you consider he has had to keep up with the heavy drinking required of TTT membership, and also watches up to 15 hours of TV per day.
Strangely at odds with his level of education is another curious obsession. The DJ is a devotee of WCW "Wrestling", a "sport" normally associated with those who have not completed primary school and are married to their cousins. The DJ's favourite "wrestler" and personal role model can be found here.
The DJ is also well known for his self confessed love of "fat chicks" which has lead to him being known as the "Whale Hunter", or even "Captain Ahab". His fellow TTT members all fondly remember one particular incident at the infamous Coogee Bay Hotel a couple of years ago when the DJ successfully "harpooned" a very large, and very "bad" girl. As the Mixmaster himself put it "I'm bad because I'm bad". And yes, DJ we won't argue with you, especially when you're pissed...
The scene of the crime...where the "Bad Girl" incident took place
The DJ loves to spin a yarn or ten when he's on the drink. We've all heard plenty about his exploits in cricket and rugby during his school days, but The DJ's favourite "pissed talk" story is the "Three times I've cried in sport". Listen carefully when he's telling you because he'll test you on it afterwards, and heaven help you if you weren't listening!
The Mixmaster's other loves in life include the South Sydney Rabbitohs (RIP) and also a love of cricket which dates back to the Golden Days of the tightshirted early 80s. In fact I think we can see a certain resemblance in the photo below of one of the great players of that era
The Mixmaster given much to his TTT mates over the years including providing us with the venue for our annual company retreat at Bateau Bay. We'll end this page with a quote from one of the Mixmasters favourite artists, Paul Weller - "Life is a drink and you get drunk when you're young". I think that just about sums up what the TTT is all about.
The DJ showing off for the ladies.
