A brief account of my early life.

Hi! My
name is Prasanna Vijayaraghavan. I hail from India. I am the first of the two children in my family and was born in my mother's native town of Thirupattur,
500(?) km south-west
Madras, in the state of Tamil Nadu. For three years thereafter, we lived in my father's hometown of Bombay, capital of
Maharashtra state and India's financial capital. I have only fleeting memories of this period. When I was three, we moved to
Secunderabad, the twin city of
Hyderabad, capital of
Andhra Pradesh state.
My parents tell me that initially I had a very tough time adjusting
to the place which was then very different from Bombay. I don't remember any of that, though. Today
I won't give a second thought if asked to go
back there.
For nineteen long years now, I have lived in this city.
Today I proudly call myself a 'Hyderabadi' ( a native
of Hyderabad). I have had my entire education, from kindergarten to my
undergraduation and thus lived the best part of my life here. Today,
it is a part of me. I suppose that is the way it always is with the place one grows up in.
