Departure Procedures

Every busy airport has a set of Standard Departure Procedures (DPS) designed to streamline the air traffic leaving the airport. These DPS can be Vector departures (as instructed by Air Traffic Control), or Pilot Nav, in which the pilot navigates based on pre-determined reference points.
