Driving Directions
To the
Ceremony:
From the Washington Beltway/I-495, take MD190/River Road East (exit 39) for 2.8 miles. At the 6th light from the beltway (Kenwood Country Club will be on your left), turn right onto Springfield Drive. Make your first left, onto Ridgefield Road, the church is on the left with parking available adjacent to the church.
From
the Ceremony to the Reception:
From the intersection of Springfield Dr. and River Rd., turn left onto River Road (heading West) and proceed 2.8 miles, turn right onto I-495 North. Immediately get over to the left side to merge onto I-270 North towards Frederick. Continue on I-270 North to Rt.124/Montgomery Village Ave. (exit 11). Go East for 2.3 miles, through 9 traffic lights. The Willow Tree Inn is on the left after you pass the 9th light (at Club House Rd). Parking is available in both the upper and lower lots.
Washington Area Airports
Baltimore-Washington International (BWI)
Good rates. About a 45 minute drive to Bethesda. Follow signs to I-95
South to the Washington Beltway, take I-495 West towards Silver Spring,
follow this until you see the appropriate exit - 355/Wisconsin Ave. South,
I-270 North, or River Road (for the church).
Dulles
International Airport (IAD)
Large and well functioning. About 25-30 minutes to Bethesda. Take the Airport access road out to the Washington
Beltway/I-495. Get onto I-495 heading North towards Bethesda. You will see the River Road exit about 5 miles along, and then the beltway "splits" about 2 miles after that. Stay to the left if you
want I-270 North, stay to the right if you want Wisconsin Ave. South.
Ronald
Reagan-Washington National Airport (DCA)
Good location. About 25-30 minutes
to Bethesda. It's kind of a pain to get in and out of if you
don't know the area well. It tends to be the priciest of all three airports and extra security
can make things slow. The GW Parkway will take you Northwest out towards I-495 (about 11 miles). Follow the I-495 North signs. You will see signs for the River Road within a couple of miles. The beltway "splits" about 2 miles after River Road. Stay to the left if you
want I-270 North, stay to the right if you want Wisconsin Ave. South.
