Pink Floyd, although not in the studio presently, have been very busy recently. A compilation is set for release in the winter of 2001, David Gilmour performed a show, entitled "The Meltdown," and it is rumored that demo tracks from "The Wall" may be released. Also the renewed widespread interest in Syd Barrett and a tour by Roger Waters is scheduled for 2002.
