My Path

Where to begin when explaining my path??

I was always empathic and a very sensitive child to those around me. When I was 3 years old, as I have mentioned on the boards, I was once tired of waiting for a flower to bloom. So I pointed and commanded/willed it to bloom right that moment. My mom, aunt and grandma got very quiet when it happened. Now I come from a long line of witches and so they kind of laughed. My grandma turned to my mom and said she was lucky and that they needed to start teaching me. So from then on, I learned how to do elemental magick with the main four elements. Then at age 4, I had my first death premonition, it was for my grandfather. Again, my mom and grandma banded together and taught me how to at least control my foresight. They also taught me divination when I got into 2nd grade (age 7). At that point, I studied the tarot and runes. I also picked up stone magick at age 10.

This went on until I started 7th grade (age 12). I never once, in those years before, knew that what I did was not what every other normal person did. Now in my early years my mom took me to church for the music and to make my dad happy. In 7th grade I got my hands on my first book, it was “True Magick” by Amber K. I realized there was a name for some of my beliefs and it was not X-ian. This became a small problem as my dad was trying to force me to be confirmed at that church. It did not happen but it was a rough two years. I had my dad pushing his beliefs upon me and I was in the process of learning Moon magick and sensing different energy patterns. I also picked up scrying along the way while in middle school.

Now on to the high school years. I began learning different ways of energy manipulations and ceremonial magick in 9th grade (age 14).

The summer after, I was almost killed by the hands of my boyfriend. Yeah, I knew how to pick the winners. Anyhow, he had broken me in more ways that one and finally I was to the point I was willing to lose consciousness just so it would be finished. In truth, I was about to hand him my life if I had and I know that now. However, right before I did the Morrigan came to me in her raven form with a silver raven claw holding a sphere of lapis necklace around her neck. I found this necklace within the year that followed this. She let out the loudest battle cry I have ever heard in my life. At that point, I gained a lot of strength back, was able to fight like hell, and did manage to get free. I must admit, when I look back she saved my life and I know she must have either awakened something that I already had or intervened, helping get me free.

From that day on, I was called to follow her path. Watcher, Warrior, and Protector all the way. It is not that surprising however because that is how I have always been throughout life in general. 10th grade (age 15) I began studying Kabala, and Norse mythology. In addition, I was learning more and more about the Celtic side of paganism. I learned everything I could about the Morrigan, at first it was just trying to figure out who she was. I also started learning more about the Druids and Bards. By 11th (age 16) grade, I was plane hopping since I had been astral projecting for years and started being called elsewhere. Also at age 16, my mother and grandmother presented me with our family’s book of shadows because I had come of age.

At some point in high school, I found that I could see a different kind of aura in regards to where that person/being came from. I was able to match these to each energy pattern from the planes that I had visited. I then learned that I was weaving music and using its unique magick and energies for numerous things. I continued working on all of my abilities and started bringing in the spiritual side of things (a very Celtic flavor if you will). While working with the music part I found that instead of just using the nomenclature of things that if I used that thing’s unique note and melody I could do far more things with it. I have used this to hide physical objects and it works amazingly well. I would use this to call the four winds, as I had mentioned in another thread.

Directly after high school (age 17) a person took me under his wing and offered to teach me all he knew. Being that I have a great thirst for knowledge, I took him up on it. From him I have learned some not so nice things but also some very useful things. I learned his way of healing and when combined with music weaving I have found that it works beautifully. However, if I were to try it only his way it would not work as well. I learned more about binding, protections, healing, other planes (five main ones), seeking, and combat than I ever thought possible from him. I also learned more about the two lesser-known elements of creation and void. This is when I learned who and what I was and for now I shall leave the details out. I shall just say that this is when I truly understood my name and what that entailed.

From the time between ages 17 and 19 I bonded with another and learned how to hone my empathy, and minor telepathy. I learned more about mind magick and how mental and spiritual links work between individuals. I also got better at the elemental magick when dealing with storms and other natural weather patterns being that these were his specialties.

As you can see I’ve learned many things in these past years. I know I am leaving out so much, however, there is a point where things like this are just simply too long. I wish you to read the entire content rather than just skim through it. I am, for the most part, a follower of a Celtic path. However there are many, many more things tied into my beliefs and path. I have learned a lot and one of the biggest things I have to say is I know that magick and I are one and the same. I do not need spells or rituals in any way nor do I need tools of any kind. I am currently looking into getting a better understanding of the Egyptian path and Enochian magick. I have also found that Wicca, as we know it, does not fit who I am or what I believe in any way. The Fae, Celts, and the Morrigan are a part of me. I hope that this will answer all your questions. I have studied under my mother, grandmother and two other teachers. I do believe that we are never done learning and that everyone, will at some point, find a need to seek out wisdom from another. At some point, I may find another who is of a similar path as me who has wisdom to share. Until then, I shall continue on my path forever learning and growing.
