Imp
Well, I suppose those people who don’t have a
dictionary might want to know what an Imp is first.
Imp 1). A devil’s offspring; young demon. 2). A
mischievous child.
I got the nickname for my gothic looks. Also an ex-boyfriend called me it for the grin I would give his mom when she would start talking bout religion, or anytime I would do anything to embarrass him. The name just kind of stuck and he got all of our friends calling me it. Now a lot of people call me Imp because I answer better to that than Jamie, go fig. The name still follows me around even after all these years.
Falling Water
This is my other name. I use this one anytime I write. I got this nickname from myself. It is the meaning of my middle name Lynn. My full name means "taking the place of falling water" or "taking the place of tears." This is really fitting because while my mother was pregnant with me her dog, Dad, and Grandma all died. Through the sorrow and the grief I was born. I use this name as the author of my writings because most of the time my poetry is dark and depressing but has a really deep meaning to it. It's also brought me through some of the toughest times in my life. My poems and writings bring me hope.
Water Nymph
This name is because of my love for water and because I'm wild enough to go skinny dippin'. I was on swim team all four of my years at high school. I learned to swim in the Gulf of Mexico off of Galveston Island, TX. Needless to say I am a fish. Hence the Water Nymph side of me.
Life as an iMp
Well, this is my hobbies part. I like to read, write poems and short stories. I ride horses on the weekends. I love nature so it's not uncommon for me to turn off the cell and leave it in the car while i disappear off into the woods. I'm a net junkie. I graduated high school on June 2nd of 2001. I graduated college with high honors in accounting on May 19, 2004. As I said I live in Elgin but Elgin is boring and I’m looking for anyone around here who does whitewolf gaming. I work at a life insurance company here in Elgin as a corporate accountant. Some day I hope to be able to build my dream house out in no man's land. Nevertheless, that's pretty much all you need to know about as of yet. Oh and I’m into web design duh!
