Groton Rural Cemetery
The Groton Rural Cemetery is located on Clark Street Ext. The cemetery covers quite a bit of area, and has some pretty old graves. There are also a lot of trees which add a nice natural look to the place. The cemetery was originally located down on Main Street, but was moved up onto the hill in 1860.
Lickville Cemetery
The Lickville Cemetery is located on Lick Street a few miles outside of Groton. It's way out in the middle of nowhere. The cemetery was founded on October 6th, 1832 and was put on lands donated by Peter Robinson and George Lick. It is a small cemetery full of trees, but surrounded by farmers' fields.
