"Blessed is the man, indeed, who in this life can find;
A PURPOSE that can fill his days, and GOALS to fill his mind!

Life Is God's Gift To You
What You Do With Your Life Is Your Gift To God
Well done, my son!

May your days be filled with blessings like the sun that lights the sky,

and may you always have the courage to spread your wings and fly!

Praise God in his sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power.
Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.
Psalm 150

This page is dedicated to my son, John (Jaytee), who has grown with many strengths in mind and spirit. Of his many wonderful attributes, I have selected only two major areas to share here - music and service to others. We all love music in our family - but Jaytee IS music. He exhibited musical ability and chose the drums as his choice of instrument very early in his life. We are convinced that his music is a God-given talent as he did not require formal professional music training; yet, his natural talent won him many music awards and scholarships. Jaytee majored in Education as he thought his career would be as a music educator; however, God's plan for him seems to have been somewhat different. God also blessed Jaytee with the gift of love - sensitivity, compassion, concern for others. With this as a basis, and alot of hard work, Jaytee established himself in his own deejay business and is making positive contributions in the lives of others.

After several years as owner of Jaytee Productions (his DeeJay business, which seemed to be growing with success potential), Jaytee also assumed the position of Youth Pastor for the church he has been attending. Currently, he manages his business and the responsibilities as youth pastor. As he has grown in the ministry and grown to love "his kids," he has had to relinquish more of the business to his DeeJay staff. As one who believes that God is directing his life, Jaytee feels he is where God wants him to be today. Whatever changes and/or challenges are in the future will be met with God as his partner.

Along with being a serious businessman and responsible pastor, Jaytee also enjoys seeing people smile and enjoy life. His gentle, friendly nature will put you at ease and his sense of humor and music will have you laughing and at least tapping your feet, if not dancing.

The following is not the actual Jaytee Productions logo - I made this to match the theme of my site and for fun. I enjoy working with the lake effect.

The saying at the top of the page and this first poem are included here because they were shared with Jaytee very early in his life. He remembers the saying to this day.

When things go wrong as they some times will,
When the road you are trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
When you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must but don't you quit.
Life is strange with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometime learns.

Don't give up though the pace seems slow;
You might succeed with another blow.
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Success is failure turned inside out-
The silver lining of the cloud of doubt.
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit;
It's when things get worse that you mustn't quit!

Think what a remarkable, unduplicatable,
and miraculous thing it is to be you!
Of all the people who have come and gone
on the earth, since the beginning of time,
not ONE of them is like YOU!

No one who has ever lived or is to come has
had your combination of abilities, talents,
appearance, friends, acquaintances, burdens,
sorrows and opportunities.

No one's hair grows exactly the way yours
does. No one's finger prints are like yours.
No one has the same combination of secret
inside jokes and family expressions that you

The few people who laugh at all the same
things you do, don't sneeze the way you do.
No one prays about exactly the same concerns
as you do. No one is loved by the same
combination of people that love you -

No one before, no one to come.

Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to
pretend in order to seem more like someone
else. You weren't meant to be like someone
else. You do not have to lie to conceal the
parts of you that are not like what you see in
anyone else.

You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever
in all of history will the same things be going
on in anyone's mind, soul and spirit as are
going on in yours right now.

If you did not exist, there would be a hole in
creation, a gap in history, something missing
from the plan for humankind.

Treasure your uniqueness. It is a gift given only
to you. Enjoy it and share it!

No one can reach out to others in the same way
that you can. No one can speak your words.
No one can convey your meanings. No one can
comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can
bring your kind of understanding to another

No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and
joyous in your way. No one can smile your smile.
No one else can bring the whole unique impact of
you to another human being.

Share your uniqueness. Let it be free to flow out
among your family and friends and people you
meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you
are. That gift of yourself was given you to enjoy
and share. Give yourself away!

Why God Made Little Boys

God made a world out of His dreams,
Of magic mountains, oceans and streams,
Prairies and plains and wooded land,
Then paused and thought, "I need someone to stand
On top of the mountain, to conquer the seas,
Explore the plains and climb the trees,
Someone to start out small and grow,
Sturdy and strong like a tree and so...
He created boys, full of spirit and fun,
To explore and conquer, to romp and run,
With dirty faces, banged up chins,
With courageous hearts and boyish grins.
When He had completed the task He'd begun
He surely said, "That's a job well done."
