In Loving Memory
Travis D. Farrington
9/6/66~4/22/98

We knew little that morning that god was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, tho' you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us with precious memories, your love is still our guide,
And although we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken now, and our hearts are still quiet sore,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link once more.
He stands tall among the angels and there are sparkles in his eyes and the baby animals curl up asleep under his feet.

I miss you Babe
Love Mom and Jim

To My Brother
Travis D. Farrington

Hello little brother, I want a minute of your time,
I know you're happy now, where the water turns to wine.
I just wanted to say some things before you went on,
I am going t miss you a lot, now that you're gone.
I know you had demons that you fought deep inside,
I wish you could have dealt with them differently than I did mine.
After seeing my pain, and all the misery,
I always hoped you would have learned something from me.
I never was a teacher, or someone to look up to,
I just wanted to say, I learned alot from you.
Don't worry about nothing here, I guess we'll be fine,
I'll treat little Zakary just like he was mine.
I'll try to be strong for Vada and Jim little brother,
I'll take up for Joan, Dad and Mother.
I know you're at peace now, I feel in my heart,
I just have to realize you have a new start.
You can draw the blinds, but don't lock the door,
I'll see you again, one day I'm sure.
God has plans, something special for you,
Now you have no reason to feel so blue.
I love you travis, I'll miss you more,
Don't be surprised when I knock on your door.
I'll let you go now, I didn't mean to whine,
I'll see you again in the new lifetime.

Brad

To Our Beloved Travis

I don't know why and I don't understand
Why Lord you have taken my youngest son

I have a son and daughter that's older you see
But you are not getting them yet Lord
I'm keeping them here by me

We had a lot of good times and very few bad
That's why it leaves me here so sad

I know he's in Heaven
I'll see him someday
I've not given up Lord
I'll continue to pray
We all love the Lord and I know he did too
He's at peace now and no longer blue

He's walking the streets of gold and looking around
Visiting with friends as they come around

It's never been easy and he found all that out
But it will from here on and that's without a doubt

The angels have got him and they've flown away
But not so far Lord, we'll see him someday

I can see him smiling and waving at me
He says come on up dad
Come up here with me

I'm not quiet ready, the Lord's got things for me to do
But when I get up there, I'll be there with you
