Taylor Brothers Band was formed in July of 1979. Since that time they have become one of the leading variety dance bands playing in various clubs and dance halls in the South Texas Area. The band is centered in Victoria, Texas and currently plays in an area extending South to Kingsville, Northwest to San Antonio, North to Austin, East to Houston and West to Pearsall. Through the years the band has been invited to entertain at several Area Festivals such as: The Goliad Stampede, Floresville Peanut Festival, Cuero Turkey Trot, Beeville Western Week Celebration, Yoakum Tom-Tom, San Antonio Stock Show, and numerous Rodeos and County Fairs. The band has also starred in Shows and Dances with such acts as: George Strait, Lee Greenwood, Steve Wariner, Jerry Jeff Walker, Asleep at the Wheel, and on December 27, 1991, they were invited to perform for President George Bush at a Republican Party Dinner and Dance held at the Beeville County Colliseum. The band's repertoire of music includes a large variety of Standard and Top 40 Country/Western, Classic and Top40 Rock and Roll, and a variety of Tejano Music. Their musical variety is geared to accommodate audiences of all ages.
