Magnolia Cemetery

The Magnolia Cemetery is located in League City off FM 518. League City was originally know as Cedar Creek, Texas. The Magnolia Cemetery was built on the Butler Ranch.
The cemetery got its name from the Magnolia Creek which runs next to the cemetery. It is a private cemetery, belonging to the families of the Andrus, Butler, Coward, Forman, and Perkins families.
Several members of the Magnolia Rangers Co. D, 1st Bde. 1st Texas Cav. State Militia, are buried here.
