Grant Junior High School

Grant Junior High School was one of the schools which I attended in Portsmouth -- from the 7^th through 9^th grades, beginning in September 1964 through June 1967. The students of each grade were divided up into six classes of about thirty students each, 1 through 6, with the students in the "1" class generally considered the smartest, and descending to the "6" class. I was always in the "1" classes, but became acquainted with numerous students in the lower classes. Many of my Grant classmates and schoolmates have appeared in my dreams.
