My Uncle George  

A close relative, my uncle George was born on April 21, 1925, the son of my grandfather Liston and my grandmother Leacy. He was the brother of my mother, my uncle Liston, and my uncle Ronald. From an early age he had polio and was unable to walk. His legs were bent back permanently at the knees, and he moved around by scooting on the floor. He lived in the House in Patriot with Liston and Leacy until they died, then lived some with my uncle Liston, and some in a state institution until he died at the age of 54 on December 29, 1979.
