Clarksfield House

This is the first house in which I lived of which I have memories. On July 1, 1955, my father, my mother, my brother Adolph, and I moved from the House in Eureka, in Gallia County, in southern Ohio, to the small town of Clarksfield, in Ashland County, in northern Ohio. My father was a Methodist preacher and the home in which we lived was a parsonage which sat next to the church. I was 2 years old when we moved there. During the time we lived in the House, my brother Chris (December 11, 1957) was born. We lived in the House for 4 years, until on July 1, 1959, my father was transferred to another church and we moved to the House in West Salem.
