Only about 30 years old, I was living in the Gay Street House. A younger brother (probably in his mid 20s) was also living in the House. I didn't feel good about being there because I was out of money and I didn't know what I was going to do. I had a few odd jobs in mind. I was supposed to put a roof on someone's house. I thought Michelle's boyfriend Wayne lived by doing odd jobs like that, so I figured I could, too. But I wasn't happy about it.

I thought I could also find some legal work since I was a lawyer, even though I wasn't licensed in Ohio. I wasn't fond of the idea of doing legal work, but I would just have to make the best of the situation.
