Dream of: 24 September 2007 "Possessed"

Michelle (dressed in working clothes) had been helping me put a metal roof on a house. She would fetch the metal for me, and I would fasten it to the roof. At first we had no problems and the work continued apace. Toward the end, however, as Michelle and I were both standing on the edge of the roof, looking at the finished job, I began to feel uneasy.

At the same time we had been laying the metal panels, we had also been spelling out words and forming sentences vaguely visible in bold black letters at the bottom of the metal panels. Michelle had been responsible for most of the spelling of the words and the grammatical construction of the sentences. As I now read over the words, I was disturbed by what I was reading.

The problem was not the content of the sentences, but their grammatical construction. I would read a few words which would make sense, but then the grammatical structure would lapse, and I was unable to assemble all the words coherently. My unease increased to a sickening feeling because the faulty sentences seemed to indicate Michelle's mind wasn't functioning correctly, and I didn't know how to deal with the problem. Something was wrong, but I couldn't precisely say what. I almost had the feeling Michelle was possessed by something which had hold of her spirit.
