Dream of: 17 September 2006 "Superheroes And Superwomen"

Another fellow (about 15 years old, I had known him for a long while) and I were partners in a contest in which we were competing against many other people. We were being asked questions which we were supposed to answer. He was asked several questions, the answer to the most important of which was "superheroes and superwomen." But he couldn't remember the answer, even though he and I had practiced this question many times. Because he couldn't answer the question, we lost the contest. As we walked out of the place, I put my hand on his shoulder and told him it was ok. I didn't know what else to say. I was upset but I didn't want to show it.

We walked out and climbed into the car. Now the fellow seemed like Carolina, but looked like Paz. While we had been in the building, taking part in the day-long contest, she was also supposed to have been taking care of my brother Chris. Thus I became upset when she said she had left Chris inside the building. I became more upset when she confessed that during the day she had even gone down to Cincinnati for a while and had left Chris alone while she had been gone. I called her a slut and a whore.

I drove around to the side of the building (a big old school building), parked the car and we walked back inside. We walked into a room with about 10 beds and I saw Chris lying on one of the beds. All of the people on the beds seemed incapacitated. He was about 10 years old. I walked up to him. He had tubes in him. He was under a cover and he could barely move. It was a pathetic sight. I told Carolina I was going to take him and start taking care of him. I simply couldn't leave him in this position. I thought she would probably be happy not to have any further responsibility.

Suddenly he started convulsing and he began to look like my nephew Will. It was a terrible sight. His convulsions stopped and he indicated that he was having pain around his butt. He said, "I'm in horrible, terrible pain."

I gave a mean look to Carolina, as if she were the lowest person in the world to have left him there like that. I wondered if he had at least been able to talk to other people there. But they all looked in such terrible shape, I doubted he had talked with them. I thought I needed to find a doctor to see if he could be helped, and then just get him out of there as quickly as I could.
