Dream of: 05 November 2005 "Tweety Bird"

Carolina and I had walked into antique shop and were browsing around. I noticed some old record albums on display. I liked the first one I saw and I immediately told a clerk I wanted to buy it (it was only 50 cents). He picked up the album for me and walked off with it. Only now did I notice a second album (underneath the first one) which was exactly like the first one. I realized I should have checked the first one first for scratches before telling the clerk I wanted to buy it. I picked up the second album, pulled it out of the cover and looked at it. It was somewhat scratched. The more I thought about it, the more I wondered why I would even be buying an album. I didn't need any albums. Nevertheless, I began flipping through the remaining albums. I saw a few old Disney albums with colorful covers. One I had never seen before. It showed a picture on the cover of animated characters in Europe.

Out of the corner of my eye, to my left, I noticed a tall porcelain lamp shaped in the image of the animated cartoon character, Tweety Bird. Even though it didn't have a lampshade, I liked its looks. But almost immediately I realized I certainly didn't need to buy anything like that. I didn't need to clutter up my house with more stuff - I had no place to put it all.

I walked over to some stacks of albums lying on the ground and began looking through them. Then I noticed some movie CD cases and I started going through them. The cases were empty - the actual CDs were behind the counter in front. But I reflected that I really didn't need to buy any movie CDs either.

I also noticed a stack of old purses. I thought how the person who owned this store certainly must enjoy buying and selling things and having a constant turnover of things like the purses. I myself wouldn't enjoy sitting in a store all day and buying and selling things.

Meanwhile, Carolina had lain down on a bed. I walked over to her. She looked very pretty (about 25 years old). I suggested to her that we make love right here in this room. A woman in charge of the place was sitting at a desk up front where she was unable to see us. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought making love here in the store wouldn't be a good idea.
