Dream of: 22 February 2005 "A Good Deal"
I had bought a house for $75,000. I hadn't closely examined the house before buying it, and now my father and my mother were in the house with me as I went through it for the first time. My parents were in the background, however, and I didn't see much of them. I immediately realized I had made a good deal. I could see that I wouldn't take less than $125,000 for the house, and I could probably get $150,000 for it right now. I was very satisfied.
The house was much larger than I had originally thought. It had a spacious living room. As my mother (about 40 years old) stood on the other side of the living room, I pointed out to her how big the living room was. I saw another small room off to the back of the living room. At first I thought it was a closet. I called out to my mother to come look at this big room. Then I noticed a bathroom which also adjoined the room. The bathroom was completely empty with no fixtures, but the lines for hooking up the sink and commode were already in place. I knew sinks and commodes were not expensive. I would buy some cheap ones and install them.
I walked back out of the bathroom and into another small room on the side of the living room. It was a very small kitchen with a small stove in the wall. The room was cramped and the stove door was difficult to open. I didn't like the kitchen but I realized it was a second kitchen and a bigger kitchen was elsewhere in the house. So at least this small kitchen wasn't the only kitchen in the house. I walked back into the living room and again began looking over the rest of the house.
