Dream of: 27 January 2003 "Angel"
I was listening to a song playing softly in the background. The title of the song was "Angel." I had heard the song before, but I had never paid close attention to it. The word "angel" was repeated several times by itself, followed by more lyrics. I slowly realized this was an important song for me. I had been thinking lately of creating a list of songs which I enjoyed and which I wanted to hear over and over. I would definitely include this one on my list.

Whether angels actually appear in the dreams of humans is still the question. The belief in the ocassional actual appearance of angels in dreams is so radically different from the belief in the psychological position that angels are simply symbols, that I wonder that two people with these two contrasting beliefs are even able to meaningfully communicate with each other about the nature of angels in dreams. I am still on the fence myself, but I push myself to lean toward actual angels. The idea of being visited in a dream by an actual angel simply seems so beautiful, I do not feel like giving it up.
