I was holding an unmarked video cassette tape on which I had taped three movies and I was trying to remember exactly what they were. I felt sure that the second movie was a French version of The Count of Monte Cristo, but I was unsure about the first movie. I thought it might be a silent movie, perhaps the silent version of The Mummy. The third movie was also a silent movie. I recalled that when I had taped the third movie, I had simply left the tape in the VCR to record without my being present. Now I was unsure if the tape had contained enough space for the entire third movie. Since the tape was now rewound all the way to the beginning, I would need to fast-forward the tape to the end, to see if all of the third movie had been taped.
