Dream of: 11 April 1999 "RV"

As my father, Carolina, and I were sitting in the living room of the Gallia County Farmhouse, we heard a knock at the front door. Since it was early Sunday morning, we hadn't been expecting anyone, and I was rather annoyed to think someone could be interrupting our serenity. Before I could do anything, a black man and a black woman marched into the room, and announced that they were there concerning some flowers which I had ordered.

I seemed to have some idea what the man was talking about. He explained that before I could receive the flowers (which were free), I would need to write a letter. Since I did want the flowers, I decided to immediately write the letter. The man asked me if I were annoyed that he and the woman had shown up here this morning. I told him that frankly, yes, I was annoyed. I was always annoyed when someone came to visit me unexpectedly – I simply didn't like unexpected visits. Now that they were here, however, I was glad I was taking care of this matter – it was something I needed to do.

When I had finished writing the letter, I asked the man if I could simply give it to him. He told me I would have to mail it in. However, as the man and woman were getting ready to leave, the man pointed out the front window toward the bottom of the hill in front of the Farmhouse, and said, "Or, you can go ahead and get them right now."

At first I had no idea what he was talking about. But when I looked out the window, I saw a beautiful, large recreation vehicle (RV) sitting at the bottom of the hill. When I noticed some large writing on the side of the RV, I realized the man and woman probably had flowers in the RV, and that they could deliver the flowers to me right now.

The sight of the RV excited me. I immediately pointed it out to Carolina, and animatedly began telling her how much I liked the looks of the RV.

The man and woman stepped outside with me and we all walked down to the bottom of the hill. I began asking the man where he had bought the RV; I bombarded him with all kinds of questions about it. I was completely enraptured with the looks of the RV. What a wonderful life it would be to travel around in an RV. I needed to find some kind of work which I could do while living in a RV. This man apparently had found such work: raising flowers. I would be so happy if I could simply find work which would allow me to live in an RV.

I wanted to know how much the RV had cost. I thought it might only be around $20,000.00, which seemed cheap to me.

I continued peppering the man with questions. I wanted to know if he had grown up around RVs, and whether he knew a lot about them. I wanted to know as much as I could. I simply loved this RV and knew I needed to start figuring out how to get one of my own.
