Dream of: 01 March 1996 "Missed Soccer Game"
I was talking with Buckner about going to a soccer game. At first I was unsure I wanted to go, but since I had never been to one before, I finally decided to go. We decided that I would first buy the tickets and then come back to get Buckner. The tickets cost $20 each; after Buckner gave me his $20, I left.
I purchased the tickets, but after I had them, instead of returning to where Buckner was, I went to a nearby hotel where I had a room, and decided to take a nap. I lay down and when I awoke from the nap, I realized I had overslept. The soccer match was supposed to start at 11:30, and it was already 2:30. Since I thought a soccer game only lasted 45 minutes, I doubted that the game would still be going on after 3 hours.
I realized I had made a mistake. I thought I would just have to give Buckner back the $20 and eat the loss. I didn't know what Buckner and I would do now; I thought we might go and visit Lane who I thought was living on Charles Street in Portsmouth. I thought perhaps we could buy some marijuana from Lane. I had recently bought some pot from Lane, but it hadn't been that good; this time I would ask to see if he had anything more potent.
