Dream of: 26 November 1995 "Prize Winning Books"

I was looking at shelves of books in a book store. I still needed a few books to complete my collection of Pulitzer-prize-winning books for fiction. I still needed one book by Eudora Welty, and I looked for her name on the shelf. Unable to find anything by Welty, I remembered two other Pulitzer winners which I needed: Willa Cather's One of Ours and Robert Olen Butler's A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain.

I had already read many of the Pulitzer books which I had and I was just about to finish Saul Bellows's Humboldt's Gift, which I had discovered to be an excellent book. Which book would I read next?
